Created as an exploration of movement, colour, and renewal, Luminous Drift captures the dreamlike sensation of looking through clear water as shifting reflections glide across the surface below. Inspired by the lakes of the north and the ever-changing patterns of sunlight moving over stone, the work transforms fleeting moments of light and water into a flowing landscape of rhythm and colour.
Built from thousands of archival pen lines, the composition moves like a slow current — contours bending and rippling as though shaped by water itself. Brighter and more vivid than previous works, the palette embraces optimism and energy, with radiant pinks, electric blues, warm oranges, and luminous yellows flowing together in layered waves.
