Inspired by the stepped cascades of Japanese waterfalls, One Step Easier explores the quiet confidence that grows through repetition. Thousands of archival pen lines flow across the surface, bending and gathering like water finding its path over stone. Each subtle change in direction builds a rhythm that feels both structured and fluid.
The colour palette was inspired by my daughter's end-of-year dance school performance. What began a few years ago as five dads reluctantly performing a Spice Girls routine has grown into more than twenty of us taking to the stage—this year dancing to Ricky Martin's She Bangs beneath bright theatre lights in blue sequined shirts. Standing on stage has never come naturally to me, but each year it becomes a little less daunting. Like the drawing itself, confidence is built one line, one step and one moment at a time.
Every piece is carefully packed by Anthony and shipped via UPS with full tracking.
