Archival pen on 425gsm Saunders Waterford paper
A2 Portrait - 42 × 59.4 cm / 16.5 × 23.4 inches
Original artwork - One of One
Somewhere between rising and falling, holding on and letting go, there is a moment where you can simply be.
Beginning with a zigzag, this drawing explores how repeated lines can build a sense of depth and movement. Colour shifts between light and dark, forming steps that seem to climb or descend depending on where your eye takes you. What appears close slips into the distance; a solid surface becomes a fold of colour.
There is tension in the tightly gathered lines and release where they appear to open out. Your eye travels, turns and finds another route, while you remain still.
Somewhere Between holds that feeling of being present while life moves around you. A little space to pause, without needing to know exactly what comes next.
Every piece is carefully packed by Anthony and shipped via UPS with full tracking.
