Where is my mind?
This piece took longer than I expected. Quite a process. It’s my first large drawing in a long time and, if I’m honest, I felt like I procrastinated for ages before finally tackling something on this scale.
Halfway through drawing the work I unfortunately suffered a concussion, which strangely became part of the story behind the piece. The title emerged from that moment. The flowing bands of lines twist and fold across the surface like thoughts moving in different directions — converging, separating and looping back again.
Oh yeah… where is my mind?
Somewhere between here and there, I’m not entirely sure.
This is my latest piece and my largest solo drawing to date.
